Mummy's Little Girl

So this is my Mother's Day card for my Mum, she's loves teddy bears so when I saw this image from Wild Rose Studio knew what I would do with it. So I used my Tonic circle dies to cut the image out before I coloured it in using ordinary colouring pencils, I like the subtle colour of pencils. Then I cute a slightly larger scalloped circle from plain blue card and another slightly larger plain circle from a piece of blue spotty card from Anna Marie Design, I think I'm in love with this range of card.

Then I stamped the Worlds Best Mum image, from Stamps Away, onto a piece of white card which I cut and layered in the same way as the main image. Finally adding some little gems on two corners to give it a little bling.

However eyes keener than mine where at the time will notice my glaring error, yes I put it on upside down. Unfortunately I didn't notice it until my Mum pointed it out to me after she opened it. Ooops!

Here is another image from Wild Rose Studio, this cute little cat is ideal for lots of occasions such as Mother's Day, Congratulations, Sorry You're Leaving or Thank You. On this occasion I used it for a friends birthday card.

Firstly I took one of the uncoloured toppers from the cat topper set, I cut the image out using my scalloped tonic die. Then I coloured the image using the following Spectrum Noir colours:
IG1, IG2, IG3, IG4, CT2
JG1, JG2, PP1, PP2, PP3

I then cut a square of the beautiful pink spotty card from Anna Marie Designs, I rounded the corners using my Xcut corner rounder punch.I then stuck this the the bottom right hand corner of my card blank. I used foam pads to mount my image onto the spotty card.

Finally I added a smaller piece of the spotty card in the top right hand corner and put a small round birthday greeting on top of this.

To a great teacher

I love this little guy from Wild Rose Studios. I added a little greeting and voila a simple but cute end of year teachers card. He could really be used for anything really. He was coloured using Promarkers.
